Jacob's first birthday

Yesterday we had Jacob's birthday party. It was his first birthday and it was actually on the day he was born. This year has gone by fast. It's hard to believe that this boy was the little baby we brought home almost a year ago. Now he is doing a funny little army crawl and loves scooting around in his walker. He also loves anything with buttons like phones, remotes and computers.

He came 6 weeks early so he took us all by surprise. My parents were on their way to visit me for my baby shower and they arrived 4 hours after he was born. The party yesterday was a lot of fun. Jacob had a great time with all of his friends. He didn't actually get to eat his cupcake, but I made him watermelon sorbet that he did get to enjoy.
